Focus On Money Making Activities

The most important 30 minutes of your day…..

Question:

When you focus on what you’re working on, are you more effective or less effective?

If you had 5 activities to do today and you focused on them when you did them, would you get more results out of the activities you worked on? If this is true then…

  • Work on eliminating distractions
  • Work on staying focused during money producing activities
  • Role play…write scripts video tape your listing presentation weekly
  • Do a 5.5.10 minimum 3 days a week
  • Attend the blitz 1 -2 times a week
  • Follow up on leads that you generate

Not hard right?

Why don’t you do it?…. You don’t see the value? … You think that maybe I’m not giving you good advice…or  you’re Lazy?

But if you want to be successful you have to:

  • Create money making environments.
  • Hang around like minded people.
  • Clear your work area when you go home at night.
  • Work from another area (not familiar to you so that you can stay focused)
  •  Work from one of our phone blitzes 1 or 2 times a week… they are still going on for the rest of the year!

Your objective should be to maintain your focus as often as you can throughout the day.

A simple technique to help you maintain your focus is to set aside time at the end of the day just before you go to sleep to acknowledge your successes, review your goals, and mentally prepare yourself for a “win” for the next day.

There was a study done that said that when you drift off to sleep, you enter the alpha brain wave state of consciousness. This is a state of mind in which you are highly suggestible.

If you watch the evening news with all its violence and misery, that is what is being imprinted into your mind.

This daily ritual will stop you from reaching your full potential and ultimately your personal goals.

Now imagine if you were to read an inspirational or self-help book or blog.

How much more powerful would the following day be for you?

How could you mentally prepare yourself for tomorrow?

Ask yourself questions like:

  •  Where could I have been more effective today?
  • Where could I have been a better agent, mom, teacher, dad, brother, sister, son or daughter?
  • What steps do I need to take tomorrow to be better in these areas?

Focus on the events that took place that day and think of the activities that you were suppose to do. Then ask yourself…

  •  How can I do them better tomorrow?
  • What can I do tomorrow to improve in these areas?
  • Who can I talk to tomorrow that needs to buy or sell a home very soon?

Then, you’ll want to think about who you need to talk to tomorrow that needs to buy or sell in the near future.

By creating a routine like this on a daily/weekly basis, you are allowing your mind to create a tunnel to help you keep your eye on the prize and set yourself up for long term success.

We can still list and sell before the end of the year.

Every day I have agents that come up to me all excited ….thanks for the push..I got another listing or I got another sale and it’s going to close this year or very early in January.

You can do it too!

You can do it again!

There is till time when you choose to do the activities to create some opportunities

Take action today… take action now and lets go out and make this one of the most productive and profitable weeks we have had all year!
