Less Is More

There are times when less is more. When streamlining what you do for the purposes of success just makes more sense than doing everything at an average level.

  1. Less is more! Focus on your most essential tasks each day. Eliminate or delegate as much as you can.
  2. Exercising is the key to energy, health, and productivity. Make this a habit if it is not already.
  1. Stop rushing. Focus on what you are doing in the moment and don’t rush through it. It will be much more relaxing for you and in the end, your quality of work will be improved.
  1. Don’t be afraid to fall flat on your face and fail. If you are afraid of failing, you will never take important first steps. Without failure there would be no success.
  2. Wake up early, it can make a huge impact on your life and impacts what you get done in a given day.
  1. Get organized. The more organized you are, the less time you will waste finding things and the more productive you will be.
  1. Review goals. Don’t just set sales goals, but take a look at them each month to see what is working and what is not working. It is okay to change your goals.
  1. Be positive. Focus on the positive. Focus on what you have, not on what you don’t have. Surround yourself with people who have positive energy.
  1. Envision your most positive future self. What would life be like for her or him? Where would you live and what would you be doing? Let that vision pull you into the future you want to have.
  1. Set goals. Long-term goals are important to set, but also be sure you are setting daily and weekly goals as well.
  1. Get the toughest things done first. Aim to accomplish the 3 most important things of your day before 12noon. Give them top priority.
  1. Be focused.Work on one goal and one task at a time. Don’t spread yourself too thin.
  1. Single-task. Stop multi-tasking and this will instantly increase your productivity.
  2. Be in the now. Be present and focus on being in the now more than the past or future.
  3. “Failure is only a failure if you let it defeat you.” Example: Fsbo rejects you..so you quit calling them. Expired…you follow up and get no results so you quit calling. Workout….. you did 1 hr on the treadmill and did not loose 5 lbs. so you quit.
  4. Act like your goal….be your goal, live your goal. You can’t be the same person if you want more. If you upgrade your goal….upgrade yourself also. Example: If you do 20 deals now and you want to do 50, you have to start doing what people doing 50 deals do. Act:
  • How they act
  • How they dress
  • How they think

Think about what activities they do:

  • Daily
  • Are they over weight?
  • Do they know their scripts?
  • Do they prospect regularly?

It is clear to me that:

  • My mindset controls my destiny
  • I am the most important asset I have, not my money, not my family.
  • It starts and ends with me.

Remember that you are what people are buying. If you do what others won’t do for 10 years, you can do what others can’t for the rest of your life.

Now let’s go out and run through the finish and make this the best activity week you have ever had!
