Prepare For Tomorrow…Today

Start by keeping your weekly goals in front of you.

You still have time. You still have 8 full weeks to list or sell some property.

Remember that successful people maintain a positive focus in life no matter what is going on around them.

They focus on their past successes rather than their past failures.

They focus on the next steps they need to take to get them closer to achieving their goals, rather than all the other distractions that life presents to them.

How to Prepare for Tomorrow… Today!

Work on the most important 30 minutes of the day….the end. Your objective should be to maintain your focus throughout the day every work day.

A simple technique to help you maintain your focus is to set aside time at the end of the day just before you go to sleep to acknowledge your successes, review your goals, and mentally prepare yourself for a “win” for the next day.

Why at the end of the day? Whatever you read, see, listen to, talk about, and experience during the last 30 min of the day has a huge effect on your sleep and on how you feel the next day.

There was a study done that said that when you drift off to sleep, you enter the alpha brain wave state of consciousness. This is a state of mind in which you are highly suggestible. If you watch the evening news with all its violence and misery, that is what is being imprinted into your mind. This daily ritual will stop you from reaching your full potential and ultimately your personal goals.

Now imagine if you were to read an inspirational or self-help book or blog. How much more powerful will the following day be for you?

How could you mentally prepare yourself for tomorrow?

You ask yourself questions like:

• Where could I have been more effective today?
• Where could I have been a better agent, mom, teacher, dad, brother, sister, son or daughter?
• What steps do I need to take tomorrow to be better in these areas?

Focus on the events that took place that day and think of the activities that you were suppose to do. Then ask yourself

• How can I do them better tomorrow
• What can I do tomorrow to improve in these areas?
• Who can I talk to tomorrow that needs to buy or sell a home tomorrow?

By creating a routine like this on a daily/weekly basis, you are allowing your mind to create a tunnel to help you keep your eye on the prize and set yourself up for success.

The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do.

Focus on your goal for the week
How many calls will I make?
How many contacts will I make?
Who will I talk to?
And then do the job….

Remember….

10 years from today your children will be eating or starving from the decisions you have made today.

What is the key to success? The key is…. there is no key.
Be humble, hungry and the hardest worker in any room.
