1. Why do I think the way I do?
A. It’s how my parents raised me, good, bad right or wrong. I think the way I think because that is how I was taught to think.
B. My early education dramatically affects how I think and how I set up expectations.
C. My adult education plays a big part in how I think.
D. People I spend my time with.
E. Spouse or significant other.
F. What I read and listen to everyday.
G. Because of how I have learned to react to daily life.
H. Because sometimes my emotions get out of control.

2. How do I change that?
Exposure………..

A. Commitment and time.
B. Create a dream book
C. Create a wish list
Places I would like to go.
Things I would like to do.
Things I would like to have.

3. Read more great inspirational books.
A. Earl Nightingale Books
B. Because… Today Matters!

4. Listen to more inspirational Tapes

5. Attend 3-4 Mike Ferry Events a year.

6. Spend time with people who do more than you do.

7. Never forget the power of Affirmations.

8. Spend less time comparing yourself to others and more time working on yourself.

9. Spend time each day meditating.

10. Start a daily journal of all the great things you’ve done.

11. Work daily to eliminate greed and envy.

I am the most important asset I have, not my money, not my family. It starts and ends with me. You are what people are buying.

There’s nothing to be gained by being upset or depressed about a lack of money.
Get over it and move on!

You can’t skip a level of experience or level of learning.

You have to be willing to tell yourself the truth. You have to be able to make a connection between the activities you are involved with and the results you are getting.

Most agents lack a lead follow-up system, either they prospect for business and don’t follow up or they have so many leads they never get to the good ones.

To become a master sales person you have to triple your failure rate. Until you know what does not work, you will never know what does.

I have to remove the options everyday. I have to stop letting crap get in the way. What options get in the way the most?

Checking messages.
Answering the phone.
Getting in late.
Not exercising.
Not practicing.
Showing properties.

Self-Talk – 95% of success or failure starts in your head.

Too much freedom now = long term pain and suffering, debt, no savings, no schedule – Rent not buy. No Prospecting.

Discipline Now = Freedom later, put money away – no debt. – prospect full amount.

If you do what others won’t do for 5 years, you can do what others can’t for the rest of your life.
