Most people believe that they will wake up someday and find themselves rich. Thomas Edison said that those people have it halfway right… Because eventually, those people wake up and find themselves with nothing. What are you going to do to wake up now, so you don’t wake up years from now with nothing?

Like talent, hard work is something you learn, not something you’re born with.

Neil,
It takes wisdom too simplify major tasks, you have done a superb job.
Make your calls, Follow up, 3 appointments a week, inspect property,
knowing that your 40 contacts face to face today will produce something
makes heading out there a lot easier. We tend to get tied up and cant
see the big picture, you just showed it too us.
Thank You,
Brendan.

It does Brendan, and that’s something people will learn over time. it takes baby steps consistently.

Neil,
Just curious to know how much more effective door knocking is to telephone
canvassing and how you arrived at 40 contacts a day as being an ideal number.
Brendan.

Door knocking is much more effective because you’re face to face… you can use your body language, which as you probably already know is a huge factor in communication. 40 contacts is just roughly one agent can do if the maximize efficiency. It’s a great number to strive for.

Neil,
Having done both I have to agree with you, glad to
see that you stress the importance of inspecting
homes on a regular basis, knowing your market
is imperative to our jobs, although seldom done
by many agents. Nobody wants to do the hard
work.
Brendan.
