The Market is going up…yeah!!! The Market is going down…yuck!!! The Market is going up again….yeah!!!
Aren’t you sick of this roller coaster? Have you ever taken a second to think about what you can do to assure yourself great results? Rather than worrying about where the market is going. Isn’t your time best spent by improving your work habits and refining your skills? A skillful agent will create amazing results, regardless of the market condition. What’s their secret? They work smarter, not harder.
S.M.A.R.T.E.R
- Specific. You need to set specific, detailed targets for the achievement of your goals.
- Measurable. You need to measure your progress daily, looking at whether you did what you set out to do, determine where you did well and where you failed and decide how you will do better the next day.
- Attainable. Set goals that are attainable so that you are not constantly frustrated with yourself
- Realistic. Be Realistic about what’s possible and what’s not.
- Timely. Am I working on the most important task right now?
- Exciting. Are you excited about what you are doing, where you are headed? Dream like a kid, get excited about your dream.
- Ready… get set, go!
Re-Program Your Brain
Your Mindset is how you are choosing to think at a particular moment. If you’ve programmed yourself to think in a negative and hurtful way, you have the power to re-program yourself to think positively. It may seem difficult to hold on to your positive mindset, so here are some tips to make it “stick….”
Start each day by doing the following:
- Say to yourself: “I am not what I was yesterday. Today I am going to work harder to become a better me”.
- Read blogs like mine, Neilschwartz.net or other personal developments blogs on the web. Read positive books or attend events like the ones the Mike Ferry Organization offers.
- Listen to some motivational audio. I always supply my agents with the latest and greatest techniques available to ensure they surround themselves with uplifting and powerful information.
- Stay away from people who are “toxic” in your life. When you visit my office, you’ll almost instantly notice the high level of energy and positivity surrounding every agent.
- Talk to and visit agents who have already achieved the level of success which you want to reach. Watch them, listen to them, see how they get and maintain their energy.. As one of the most successful brokers in the United States, I work with agents who achieve phenomenal production. If you want to see an office with “positive energy.” and a strong support system, visit us at Century 21 Masters, come see what we are talking about…
Final Thoughts
One month, 1 year, or 5 years from now, you may only have one regret…that you didn’t start right now. Today is the most important time in your life, for it will change the way you live tomorrow and the day after, and the day after that. The way you begin this journey to success is by making the decision to begin right now.
You have 2 options to take now…
You can take action and follow my advice right now or…
You can look back on this moment 1 month, 1 year, or 5 years from now and wish you had started earlier.
You choose…
