Have you ever lost a client from over following up? One of the most important things you can do to drastically increase the number of appointments you go on is to work on your lead follow up. Continue calling and emailing. Remember, don’t take “no” when “yes” is still possible. Other agents have the same leads that you are working on, they are pushing to get the appointment and listing, “show your stuff;” be aggressive and demonstrate your market knowledge. Good, consistent lead follow up will yield you results!
Neil-
Lead follow up .. . . . . such a simple thing to do . .. .. . so easy not to do . . . . . so costly not to do.
Thank you for the video. For some reason, lead follow up has been one of the major sources of lost revenue in my business. I don’t know why, I just avoid it. I make up stories about the status of clients and tell them to myself and convince myself they are true. How’s that for stupid?
Your video was a timely reminder as to the importance of lead follow up. I am adding to my business plan today to become a lead follow up LEADER!

Another great point Neil , I do have to ask though at what point are you going to come across as plain pushy? Maybe this is just a fear of mine but in small rural areas as I work there is a distaste for over enthusiastic pushy salesmen etc would you say maybe a follow up call once a month? Or maybe every two weeks? I guess it would depend on the needs of the client your calling do you have a guideline that you would recommend? thanks
